Are you in the mood for a light and charming beach read? This is one of my favourite feel-good books. If you liked the Full Monty or Billy Elliott, you will love this.

It's very English - a cast of oddballs come together and deal with a problem that has its root in a social issue. Lots of laughs perhaps the odd tea, and the plot moves along at a quick pace.

One for fans of a Man called Ove and the 100 year old Man.

While the article presents an intriguing premise, it raises questions about the depth of social issues tackled within light and charming narratives. It’s essential to consider whether such stories can genuinely engage with complex topics or if they merely serve as escapism. The mention of Vegasnow as a backdrop suggests a desire for contrasts, which could enrich the thematic exploration.
