This is one wild ride of a book. I felt like I was being pelted with ideas, history, future and jokes.
It’s a reworking of Frankenstein; it’s an historical dramatization of Mary Shelley’s life at the time she wrote her masterpiece; it’s a discussion on gender, parenting, and feminism; it’s an exploration of the role of technology will play on our futures and it’s littered with pop culture references and bouncing prose. A playful riot!
