This book is a hoot!
It tackles ageing, loving and relationships in a very refreshing manner. Peggy Smart at 79 years has fallen hard for one of the residents of the village and doesn't think her life is over just yet. Meanwhile her well-intentioned children are trying to wrap her in cotton wool. This conflict in purposes comes to a head when Angie, Peggy's school friend, moves into the village and teaches Peggy and all of the residents a thing or two about 'ageing disgracefully'.
